Hello TD family! Hope everyone enjoyed this beautiful weather God gave us on this Memorial weekend and had time to be blessed and enjoy family and friends. And let's not forget what this Memorial Day is about: the sacrifice of those American service men and women who fought and died in wars to protect our freedoms and the freedom of other countries. An appropriate Scripture would be John 15:13... "Greater love has no one than this; to lay down one's life for one's friends." And of course the greatest act of someone laying down their life is Jesus, who suffered and died on the cross for you and me to take away our sins and wash us clean with His blood! Amen! One more announcement.....to quote Jake and Elwood Blues fron the movie 'The Blues Brothers'.."We're getting the 'band' back together, we're on a mission from God!" YES, we're going to have a Men's 28 weekend!!!. And the above quote is NOT the weekend verse😉. The verse is.."For we are God's Masterpiece! I am humbled to take on the role of Rector and am looking forward to serve and see what God has planned for the weekend! Obviously we are getting a later start than usual and the help from the TD family will be GREATLY appreciated! The team is coming together but I have many phone calls to make. An important position is Weekend Chair., but its hard to fill. So PLEASE pray about this and you can give the SECRETARIAT a call or contact me at 216-225-0316.
